APPLIED ARTS CURRICULUM

6th Grade Knitting:  Students will learn knitting skills and some basic sewing skills to prepare students for quilting.

​

7th Grade Quilting:  Students learn to cut and piece fabric.  They also learn color and pattern placement and techniques unique to quilting. 

​

8th Grade Sewing:  Students will learn basic techniques of sewing, reading a pattern, and functions of a sewing machine.
