Retreating at CMS

Although the annual Allerton retreat was held on the CMS campus this year due to safety concerns, the students were still thrilled to experience this CMS tradition. Students enjoyed two beautiful days outdoors playing, learning, and getting to know each other. Each grade level took a turn preparing a meal. Students did art projects, learned how to start a fire using stones, visited with some cool reptiles, performed dramas, did many team building exercises, and, of course, enthusiastically participated in the annual LipSync Spectacular! Making art, making fire, making food, making friends, and making memories--that's what CMS retreat days accomplished this year.
